Good Taste - Mimi & Iffy comic by Robert Burton Robinson

Comic Transcript

Panel 1:
Closeup of Iffy.
He says to Mimi: Why do you keep buying me clothes at the thrift shop?
Mimi, off camera, says: Because they’re cheap, and occasionally I bring home something you like. If not, I just donate it back.
Iffy says: Yeah, at least you don’t make me go with you.

Panel 2:
Closeup of Iffy.
He says: Hey, this shirt is actually nice!
Mimi, off camera, says: What do you like about it?
Iffy says: Well, it’s a high-quality shirt, and I love the color and the fit.

Panel 3:
Closeup of Mimi.
She says: I’m not surprised. That shirt is from the pile of clothes you told me to donate. You said you didn’t want them anymore. I was gonna take them to the thrift shop today.
Iffy, off camera, says: Oh.

Panel 4:
Iffy is glancing back at Mimi.
He grins and says: Well, it just proves that I still have the same good taste I had years ago when I bought this shirt.
Mimi rolls her eyes, smiles, and says: Yep.
